At Dezrez, our team is our most valuable asset, and today we want to shine the spotlight on one of our exceptional team members – Amirah. Since joining the company, Amirah has made remarkable strides and is an integral part of our success. Let’s take a closer look at her journey, her achievements, and what drives her passion for working at Dezrez.


A longstanding career with Dezrez

Amirah has been part of the Dezrez family on and off since 2006! Her career has since taken her away from the business to other ventures but, as of 4 years and 3 months ago, she is back and is a key member of the team in supporting our clients.


“I’m a second line support technician,” Amirah says. “My job has various roles, some of which involve working on branding tickets, portal tickets, and assisting the first line with any queries [our clients] have.” This position allows her to engage directly with the technical needs of our customers, ensuring they receive the best service possible.


Growing into new roles

Amirah's journey at Dezrez began with a focus on supporting our DR1 software, but over time her responsibilities have expanded and she now works in the second line department.


Her role has evolved significantly, reflecting her growth and adaptability. Moving to second line support was a challenge, but it’s one Amirah embraced fully. “I didn’t think that this was a role I would be capable of doing, but now I really enjoy it. I’m happy that I moved positions,” she adds.


The importance of customer service

For Amirah, customer service is at the heart of what she does. “Customer service is very important to me. I think it’s vital that we do everything we can to make a customer happy.” She takes pride in Dezrez’s long-standing client relationships, many of which have been nurtured over years of exceptional service. “One thing customers tell me is why they stay with us: it’s the great customer service we provide them.”


Amirah’s dedication to her clients speaks volumes about the culture at Dezrez, where going the extra mile for customers is a standard practice.


A supportive team and a great culture

One of the key reasons Amirah stays motivated is the incredible support she receives from her team. “I work with a great team, and we always support each other,” she explains. “Everyone at Dezrez is so kind and helpful. You can go to anyone in the company for advice or help, and you will always get it.”


At Dezrez, teamwork is the foundation of everything we do. Amirah’s experience reflects the positive, collaborative atmosphere we foster, where every team member is valued and supported in their roles.


“I absolutely love working for Dezrez,” she continues. “I’ve had a few different jobs in various roles over the years, and Dezrez is the best company I’ve ever worked for. In fact, I love it so much that I’ve re-joined Dezrez three times now!”
